WGAw Reg. # 535499
An Action Drama set in the Heartland.    Welcome home to your new battleground, soldier.

Returning Afghanistan vet Mack Hawkins seeks peace on his family farm. Brother Cody gave up his shot at pro football to keep the farm and families together. But, when the six generation farm is seized under the war on drugs, the brothers must go to battle on home soil. In 1984 congress enacted the Illegal Acts Seizure & Forfeiture Laws (IASFL) to put teeth into the war on drugs and maneuver around the 4th Amendment (unlawful seizure). Operating under these drug laws, or “the business of law,” local cops partner with a Florida crime boss to plant drugs and seize valuable Midwest farm lands. They didn’t count on the Hawkins brothers.

“Lethal Weapon” meets “First Blood” driving “The War Wagon”

A Coming of Age Comedy.    Surfers make strange bedfellows.

Two guys wipeout on the same wave and strike up a bromance with everything in common, including the same ex-wife, while searching for “what makes a best friend?” Rob Glassen and Tex Fehrenbach loved the Cleveland Indians and dreamed of being teammates one day with a friendship that would last forever. After college, when Tex died in air combat, Rob vowed to never like again. Retreating to a secret surf spot in Baja, Mexico, Rob reluctantly shares waves with an unwelcome intruder, Larry Haskell. Rob saves Larry’s life when he’s pursued by a Tiger Shark. Surf’s up and the friendship is on as Larry’s ex-wife becomes Rob’s wife, then ex-wife.

"Stand By Me" meets "I Love You Man" on a “Big Wednesday”

An Ensemble Drama / Comedy.    The 19th hole is murder.

Inseparable from college through their careers, four buddies test their friendship when one of them is accused of murder. Their monthly golf ritual at the Stone Mountain Golf Club is a flurry of bad swings, bad jokes, and a “Good walk ruined” to quote Mark Twain. Foursome football star Mickey Sumeral is now a federal judge who’s managed to get into the 'The White Country Club’ of life. When his buddy Brandon Donnely is accused of murder their friendship is truly tested. Playboy pilot Jim Wharton and surgeon “Doc” Whitney round out the Foursome.

The “The Hangover Tees it Up.”

A Horror / Sci-Fi Creature Feature.    Mother Nature Ain't Happy. PLAY VIDEO PROMO »

Man’s encroachment on the environment awakens a sleeping, shape shifting creature that can become any size and shape of monster to exact Mother Nature’s revenge. The Chinook legend of Hatawa Yeltuci is carved in totem poles and celebrated as many creatures. Hatawa is “a bear moving silently,” and Yeltuci is “one that crushes bones.” Vampires have nothing on this beast, if bitten, and you live, you become a Little Hunter... in a forest where no one can hear you scream.

“The Howling” meets “The Thing” at “The Cabin in the Woods”          Creature animation available via my group in Silicon Valley.

A Romantic Comedy.    What do you do when you're fired for being too 'Italian?'

All the hearts left in San Francisco can be found at Pier 47. Take ad executive Terry Capollo. He left his heart there when his wife died and it’s given him a hard ‘politically incorrect’ edge . That edge creates a vengeful high-heeled mob and he’s fired for alleged sexual harassment because he’s 'too Italian.’ The only job he can find now is with a lecherous gay boss that wants to literally ‘make him a partner.’ Terry’s lifelong buddy Marcus helps with his gay on-the-job training and getting in touch with his inner woman. Pier 47 keeps pulling Terry toward the obvious answer with former workmate Victoria Parker.

“Sleepless in San Francisco” meets “The Bird Cage”
